I’m Kiran Kanwar from Jaipur. My family consist of 5 members, Me my husband and 3 kids. One daughter and 2 sons. Daughter is married and has a small kid. One son is pursuing his Engineering from Jaipur and youngest son is doing his graduation. I was a housewife before coming to Sakha and had studied till 8th standard.
“First, I took a 6-month training at Azad, which included 16 types of training — one of them was driving. After that, in 2015, I started working with Sakha. I continued working with Sakha for 8 years. While working, I also resumed my education. I had only studied up to 8th grade at that time. To get a commercial driving license, I completed my 10th grade. Then I continued my studies, completed 12th, and later even did my graduation.
I managed both my job and studies together. Then I got an opportunity to travel abroad — to Europe, to Budapest, Hungary. It was the first time in my life I went abroad and the first time I ever sat on an airplane. When I sat in the plane, I felt like I was in heaven. While doing all this, I continued to take care of my home and children. Then I felt that I should buy my own car, as the expenses had increased. I thought of purchasing my own vehicle and start working as per my convenience and earn more. And today I have a taxi sedan car of my own and earn much more and could save lot of money after paying my EMI of the vehicle.
I also bought a house in Jaipur in my name. Today, I am very happy. I want to thank Sakha and Azad, because without them, none of this would have been possible. I started my education 17 years after my marriage — and look back at my achievement, I feel proud and would like to say that we can dream of achieving anything without bothering of the age or time gap we left behind for any work.
